History

The art of the goldsmith is an ancient and difficult art that requires skill and precision, but above all love. And it was precisely out of love for his work that Gaetano Broggi, the last heir to a family of craftsmen skilled in gilding and silver-plating metals, opened his first workshop in Milan in 1818. Silver cutlery, tableware and sacred objects whose fame went straight to the royal court in Turin.

Innovation

On June 14, 1872, Vittorio Emanuele II. The right to place the royal coat of arms on the insignia of the headquarters as a supplier to the royal family. Just a few years later, a new innovation: the dynamo for generating electricity, which the Broggi discovered abroad and brought to Italy in order to optimize the galvanic process. The challenge of large deliveries soon arose for the Broggi family, starting with the hotel industry.
