History

In 1915, Emil Salvisberg founded the sole proprietorship Salvis in Reussbühl LU. Four years later, Salvis produced the first electric stove. From 1930, the company concentrated entirely on manufacturing products for industry and professional kitchens. In 1960, the company was taken over by the Eichhof brewery. In 1997, the company merged with Franke Verpflegungstechnik AG. The many years of know-how of both companies were combined and further perfected in today's Salvis AG.

Sustainability

As a Swiss industrial company, Salvis products are exported to over 50 countries around the world. The company gladly accepts this responsibility and develops and produces the devices according to the latest technological standards.
