The company

The company's 100-year history forms the basis of its expertise in the areas of cutting, grating, grinding, and separating. With around 40 employees at its Swiss locations in Opfikon-Glattbrugg (ZH) and Quartino (TI), Brunner-Anliker Maschinen AG offers its customers complete systems for optimizing food processing. Brunner-Anliker machines stand for precision, durability, and reliability from Switzerland: from development and production to sales, all processes are carried out at Brunner-Anliker's branches in Switzerland.

manufacturing

Each knife is manufactured in the company's own knife factory and sharpened by hand. Each grater plate is individually punched, ground, and embossed. Thanks to the high level of vertical integration at its production site in Quartino, Brunner-Anliker not only guarantees outstanding product quality, but can also offer its customers tailor-made solutions.

Material

Brunner-Anliker's claim is to build machines that will last for generations. The use of high-quality, durable materials is an important element in this. Forged knife steel is used to manufacture the knives. For its machines, Brunner-Anliker relies largely on stainless steel and patented glass fiber composite material with antimicrobial properties. All materials used are characterized by high durability and resistance.

Sustainability

Brunner-Anliker has been building and selling machines for generations and optimizes its customers' processes for sustainable environmental management. The focus is on four key areas: manufacturing, durable materials, low power consumption, and reducing food waste for customers.

Drawn cut

The unique cutting geometry of the "pulling cut" prevents unnecessary loss of nutrients and vitamins. Thanks to this biotechnical method and the hand-sharpened knives, the cell structures of even the most delicate vegetables or fruits are hardly damaged. This results in a significantly longer shelf life for the processed products.
