From sole proprietorship to entrepreneurial group

The "Porzellanfabriken Christian Seltmann" (Seltmann Weiden), founded in 1910, has developed into a group of companies through the takeover of the "Königlich privilegierte Porzellanfabrik Tettau" (Königlich Tettau) with the four specialized porcelain factories and an art department incorporated in 1990 and 1995, which is still run as a family business today.

The Seltmann Group is one of the few globally operating porcelain manufacturers with an exceptionally broad range of production know-how: from high-tech production in one of the most modern porcelain factories in Europe to pure craftsmanship in the manufactories (located in Rudolstadt/Thuringia).

Made in Germany

The Seltmann Group's porcelain meets the highest international standards in terms of design, functionality, durability and exclusivity. It is precisely these product characteristics whose high quality standard can only be maintained in Germany. In 5 factories, around 800 employees produce exquisite porcelain for the household, hotel and social catering sectors. Seltmann also focuses on the production of particularly valuable figurines and gifts.
