The Rotor Lips brand can now look back on decades of success. Its origins date back to 1943, when a company was founded in Uetendorf, Switzerland, specializing in the sale of food processors and kitchen appliances. At that time, the company name was still "Rotor World Service". 

Just six years later, the company manufactured its first own kitchen machines and took orders in this area. After several mergers with other companies, the company was renamed Rotor Lips AG in 2004. The company is still based in Uetendorf near Thun.
